We believe Jesus is perfect theology and we want to see His Kingdom on earth, just as it is in Heaven. Jesus is our example and our leader. He is the One who paid the price for our sins, binds up the broken hearted, gives hope to the hopeless, heals the sick, and delivers the captive. Jesus is love. Jesus is our standard for the life of the believer; we follow Him to be made like him. Our goal is to raise our theology to reflect the life of Jesus and not lower our theology in order to justify our experiences.

Family was God’s idea, and we believe that He created each of us to thrive within the context of a Biblical family of believers. We have been adopted into God’s family, so together we intentionally embrace God’s family values; we value and honor one another, even when we disagree. We are responsible to speak up with loving confrontation when others in the family of God sin. Forgiveness is our standard and redemption is our expectation. The way we love people is a direct reflection of our love for God.

Reentry, Recovery, and Redemption have been in our DNA since the birth of our church family. Some of our founding leaders have been directly impacted by both incarceration and addiction and found redemption in Jesus Christ. Their experience gives us a unique bent to effectively minister to those returning home from incarceration or coming out of addiction. Equipping, empowering, and discipling are a few of the supports that we offer to everyone who has experienced the redemption found in Christ alone.

God has called the church to be a house of PRAYER. We believe that intimacy with God is the most important aspect of a believers life, and it begins with an active prayer life. We enter into prayer as a partnership with God; He longs to share His heart with us as we spend time listening to His voice, and this gives us the amazing opportunity to partner with Him to release His will on the earth as we pray His heart back to Him. Our desire is to truly pray like Jesus in frequency (without ceasing), strategy (yielding to the Father), and identity (as trusted sons and daughters seated in Heavenly places).

We believe God made each of us to be minsters of the gospel. Our goal is to equip our church family with the tools needed to have a thriving private life with God and to walk in the gifts He has put inside each of us so we can uniquely shine His Light into the darkness within our own spheres of influence.
